Every fall for the last few years when it starts to turn cool outside and the leaves change colour my husband asks for these muffins. He is a pumpkin fan and will try almost anything that has the word “pumpkin” or “spice” in the title – especially when they are together! The muffin cravings started after he bought a Pumpkin Spice muffin at a certain “Star” studded coffee shop down the street. He came home and requested that I find something similar so he could have them without paying the “Bucks” (as it were!).
A quick type into Google found (amazingly) the title “Almost-Like-Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins“. This recipe has been my “go-to” for fall get-togethers and play-date snacking. They are super-delicious eaten warm on the porch on a cool day, especially with a cup of tea.
Make them with a friend (and try not to think of the 2 cups of sugar!), relax, give thanks for something – or many things. Enjoy.
