I read all of them, and all of the lovely messages you’ve left on Facebook, and I generally thought about how far this blog has traveled in the past 4 years. I whole-heartedly thank each and every one of you. This giveaway  is courtesy of Funky Monkey Fabrics. This shop has been around for quite a while, and somehow flew under my radar until last year. I was looking for some minky and licensed fabrics for some quick mitred-corner blankets and remembered that they had both! This shop has incredible amounts of licensed fabrics in stock. Plus tons of gorgeous knits as well. Definitely my go-to shop for kids’ fabric and knits, they even have stretch denim in stock!

This giveaway  is courtesy of Craft de Ville. This shop hails from Montreal, one of only a few that I know are located in Eastern Canada. They have an easy-to-shop website. Lots of quilting cottons plus notions and patterns, along with lots of things for crafting like beads and embroidery hoops. They even have a vintage section with gorgeous buttons and vintage bobbins for sale. I’m looking forward to spending more time in their shop soon!

This giveaway  is courtesy of Nuts for Bolts etc. This shop is new-to-me, but old to the Canadian fabrics Pinterest board. (#seewhatIdidthere) I was happy to see that it is full of great finds! Lots of quilting cottons, the batting you need for your project, plus a huge stash of super-cute double-gauze and lots more. If you happen to be near their shop in Central Alberta, it’s open for classes as well!

Lately I’ve been doing more of my own quilting but I’m still a beginner – so I like to mark my quilt tops with my quilt design. I tried a few different products – and then found the Collins Air Erase Vanishing Purple Fabric Marker! It truly does work – it totally disappears from the quilt top without leaving any residue or trace. Just watch the time – it can start to fade within 30 minutes, depending on the fabric!

Flare Fabrics is giving away this gorgeous jelly roll (40 2 1/2″ strips!) – Cool L’s Modern Collection from Lecien Fabrics of Japan. This amazing blend of cool colours would be amazing pieced into a quick strip quilt. Or a quilt-as-you-go herringbone, or (let’s be honest) like a million other projects!
