Hooray! I got to go shopping! This is my stash, though all of it is destined for one Christmas project or another.

That is a better look, so my family can try to decipher which ones they think are going to be made into something for them!

These ones are going to be made into Beach Robes. I have been wanting to make these robes for my girls for a few years now. I finally have the time to do it! A few other little people will be getting one too.

This fabric isĀ Free Spirit, Westminster Fibers – Mum Garden. It is going to be a make-up bag using the open wide zippered pouch tutorial from Noodlehead. I also used the tutorial to make a snack bag here.

I know you’ve already seen this one – but the selvage edge was too cute and I couldn’t resist a photo. Good ol’ Michael Miller for making (yet another) fabric I couldn’t pass up!

I have been sewing like a crazy person – really. My husband commented that he felt a bit like a sewing widow! I think I spent about 25 hours between Sunday and Tuesday night making my oldest daughter a fall/spring coat. Her old one (which I hated) now has a broken zipper (hooray!). I have had some It’s a Hoot by Momo for Moda since at least last spring destined for a new coat. Of course the sewing didn’t start until the old one was unusable! I will be attempting a photo shoot in the morning and will see what I can come up with to show you.

I’m also working on my oldest’s birthday party so I’ll be posting some of that stuff as well.

(Just for the record – given the length of time I spent sewing – I did manage to feed my family good meals and get my daughter to school on time those days!)
